I chipped a tooth while on vacation near Alexandria. Dental Health Associates popped up first on Google and I'm so glad they did! The staff was super helpful and friendly, and they got me in quickly. Highly recommend Dr. Gustafson and the whole team!!

Super knowledgeable and very helpful with tongue and lip ties in babies. Both times I've taken my kids to correct a tongue tie I've had a wonderful experience. Very happy with their services!

I was really nervous about getting my daughter’s lip and tongue tie revised, especially when she was only a week old. But from the very first visit, they made me feel completely comfortable. They took the time to answer every single question I had and never once made me feel pressured to go through with the procedure.What stood out most to me was how much they truly cared—not just about doing the procedure, but about supporting me as a mom too. They explained everything so clearly and made sure I felt confident caring for her at home afterward so we could get the best possible results.I noticed a huge difference almost immediately. Nursing improved right away, and even her sleep got better. At our follow-up appointment, they were just as supportive—answering more questions, encouraging me, and guiding me toward what would help my daughter most.We live a little over an hour away, but it is 100% worth the drive. I’m so grateful for the care we received.

Nothing but great things to say about Dental Health Associates!! Huge shoutout to their lactation consultant Coley for being an amazing support person! My 2 month old had a lot of tension due to a pretty traumatic birth. He wasn’t able to latch without a nipple shield and nursing was a struggle. Coley was able to observe a nursing session and give helpful tips and support for a better nursing experience. That made such a difference! Our little one’s been in to the chiropractor and had his tongue tie revision a little over a week ago and we’ve seen such improvement! 3-5 days after the revision he’s been able to latch and get a full feed without the shield. Some days are better than others and it’s not perfect yet but we’re so thankful we took advice and went with the revision.

I went to Dental Health Associates for the very first time, and I have never really enjoyed going to the dentist but they were just so so nice, and understanding! I told them I didn’t really like the floride paste, and they told me they could do less so I don’t get sick. They are all such wonderful people, and I really enjoyed going there!

We absolutely love coming to Dental Associates! Our whole family genuinely looks forward to our appointments. From the front desk to the hygienists to the doctors, everyone is so kind and welcoming. They make us feel comfortable every single visit, and the appointment reminders are incredibly helpful too. Thank you all for the amazing care you provide!

Dr. Schmidt and his assistant Coley were so knowledgeable and kind. They take such great care of my children and just did a tongue and lip tie revision on our new baby! The process was simple and effective, and the changes were noticeable immediately!

This dental clinic truly goes above and beyond! They were so patient with both my daughters (2&3) through a normal checkup and a lip tie procedure! The lip tie healed fast and was a huge improvement. My daughter smiles now! My husband needed paperwork updated for the Army. They got him in quick with doctor Tanner and followed up the well run appointment with a hand written letter! I feel like we're a part of the Dental Health Associate Family.
