During Your Visit

Our goal is to make sure we provide a comfortable atmosphere for you and your child. Your child’s health and safety is our number one priority. Feel free to bring a friend or relative with you for additional support.

1. Exam & Questions

1. During your visit, we will listen to your concerns and perform a thorough examination on your child. We will discuss treatment options and answer any questions that you may have.

2. Same-Day Procedure

For your convenience, treatment may be done on the same day as the consultation. During the procedure, your infant will be swaddled to make sure they are secure. Non-infants may be numbed with a local anesthetic.

3. Process and Timeframe

Our doctors use a CO2 (carbon dioxide) Solea laser during the procedure. Actual lasering time during the procedure is usually 10-15 seconds and it is normal for your infant to cry during the procedure. During the procedure, you will have a comfortable and private family room to watch post-op stretching videos and your child will be returned to you in approximately 5-10 minutes.

4. Post-Procedure

After the procedure, you may stay in that private family room to feed and soothe your child. In some cases, the baby may prefer to rest or fall asleep afterward. You will be given as much time as you need to feed or soothe your infant.
